The past weeks have been very busy at ideasUK, we are in the process of publishing our conference brochure for 2011. The last few days have been a flurry of phone calls to speakers and ensuring we have keynote speakers and workshops that are educational and inspirational. I think this year’s speakers’ programme is the best yet in our 25 years.
As well developing the brochure, we have also recruited 6 new members over the past week and I wanted to take this opportunity to welcome them to ideasUK.
Of course, I cannot name our new members here, but I am excited at the prospect of working closely with these organisations over the next twelve months with the eventual aim of them achieving Bronze level accreditation in 2012.
What has really struck me though, in speaking to these new members, is the willingness and hunger to encourage their employees to submit ideas that not only help the customer, but also improve efficiency within the business.
Over the next weeks, I will be spending time with each of these new members, working with them to develop the internal processes needed to ensure the ideas programme is launched and embedded into the culture of the organisation.
These are exciting times for us at ideasUK, with the networking meetings planned for this week and September together with our 25th Conference in November we are offering our members more value than ever before. It is good to see our growth is continuing in 2011, which is a great benefit to members old and new.
